Welcome to the world of Kilmaganney and Azariel Irish Water Spaniels.
The Kilmaganney Kennel is based in Staffordshire, England UK and is owned by Louise Bailey.
The Azariel Kennel is based in Strabane, Northern Ireland, UK and is owned by Emma O’Donnell.
At present, Louise and Emma have 5 Irish Water Spaniels between them, 2 dogs, Cal and Logan, and 3 bitches, Fin, Cassie and Darcy.
Cal, Cassie and Logan live with Emma, Fin and Darcy live with Louise. Darcy was bred in America and travelled home with Louise under the PETS passport scheme in January 2008.
Louise is a very active member of The Sporting Irish Water Spaniel Club; she is the acting secretary and is currently the Editor of the twice yearly Newsletter. Her main interest lies in promoting the Irish Water Spaniel as a working gundog. She is also a member of The Irish Water Spaniel Association (UK), The Irish Water Spaniel Club of Ireland, and The British and Irish Dog Breeds Preservation Trust.
Emma is also a member of The Sporting Irish Water Spaniel Club, The Irish Water Spaniel Association (UK) and The Irish Water Spaniel Club of Ireland. Emma’s main interest is in showing the dogs. In 2005, she was featured during the BBC’s coverage of Crufts, having qualified her first Irish Water Spaniel, Cal, as an Irish Show Champion. Emma is currently setting up her own business as a dog trainer and groomer. More information on that in the near future.
